Matcha Chia Pudding

Chia pudding is scrumptious, healthy and incredibly easy to make.  The other day I wondered if I could mix matcha tea and chia pudding to make the ultimate healthy breakfast.  

 

Turns out, it's a matcha made in heaven! (like what I did there?)

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup chia seeds

  • 1½ cups cashew milk (You can use whatever milk you wish or water or a combination!)

  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup

  • 2 teaspoons Matcha green tea powder

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Toppings : Shredded coconut and raspberries (You can use any fruit or granola you wish!)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, add chia seeds and milk.

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine matcha powder with a little hot water; whisk until smooth.

  4. Add the matcha mixture and vanilla to the chia seed mixture; stir.

  5. Place it in the fridge and let it sit overnight.

  6.   Garnish with toppings.
